About Me
I've been working in the games industry since 2005, developing games for all the mainstream consoles (Nintendo, Playstation, and XBox), in C++.
As a game developer I work in a field where performance is paramount, yet the inherent lack of safety in C++ consistently holds back progress and makes both refactoring and debugging difficult. Haskell offers the promise of increased safety and (much!) easier refactoring, without too high a hit to performance, especially as we move more toward multicore processing. The extra expressiveness and speed of development is icing on the cake!
