Epam Systems is looking for Lead Haskell developer
Must-have requirements
- Experience in functional programming
- Understanding of classical algorithms
- English Intermediate or higher
- Experience in managing a team of developers
Nice-to-have requirements
- Knowledge of Haskell , experience of using it in commercial or open source software development
- Understanding of functional data structures
- Familiarity with financial markets
- Degree in mathematics, computer science, physics or other highly quantitative subject
About the project
FPF is a functional domain-specific language with a set of tools
implemented in Haskell. The language is used to describe complex
financial products (exotic options), and the tools are used to analyze
and process those products in different ways.

FPF team currently consists of ten people, five of them being located in Kiev.
Job duties
- Writing, improving, refactoring, debugging and optimizing FPF tools
- Writing and refactoring programs in FPF language
